Phone charging
Fast, safe charging for basic phones and smartphones. All common cables provided.
☀ Powered 100% by the sun
X-Station is a solar charging station for villages without electricity or with frequent blackouts. Charge your phone, lamp, radio, power bank and other household devices at a fair price, close to home.
How it works
We put solar panels and big batteries in a secure kiosk in the centre of your community. The sun charges our batteries all day, and they charge your devices day and night.
Phone, torch, lamp, radio, power bank or any small appliance. Don't have a cable? We have one for every common phone.
Your device goes into a numbered, locked slot. You get a matching ticket, so only you can collect it.
Most phones are full in 1–2 hours. Go about your day and come back when it's done. Pay with cash or mobile money.

About X-Station
X-Station was founded by Okai Paul Elisha with one simple idea: no family should have to walk hours or wait days just to charge a phone or light their home. Millions of people in rural Nigeria live with no electricity at all, or with power that comes and goes.
X-Station answers that with solar-powered charging stations built in the heart of rural communities. Each one runs on clean energy from the sun and is operated by trained local people. They give families, students, farmers and small businesses reliable power for their phones, lamps, radios and household devices.
Our mission is to make clean, affordable solar power a normal part of everyday life in every village.
